Go hug your family.. 10/10 Call your Grandma right now!. I found it very enjoyable, I loved the story, and it definetly made me emotional but the price. 13 dollars for 3 hours??? I just really don't think its worth that much. Great story, overpriced. I picked up this game during Steam's LudoNarraCon, and was delightfully surprised. It's a short game, completable in only a handful of hours, but I consider that a point in its favour - it does not succumb to the temptation of drawing out the gameplay at the expense of the story. It starts as a farming simulator, but a gentle one, of low complexity. It slowly emerges that all is not quite as it seems. I will attempt a spoiler free comment:The game unfolds with a remorseless inevitability, one that made my ultimate failure at farming less important, and once I realised what was happening, it removed the anxiety to optimise that I sometimes feel while playing other simulators. The story is unfolded in several ways: the natural course of events on the farm, conversation with the postman, and letters. I felt the latter were the weakest element, with the writing sometimes a little overwrought, or revealing a little more than I'd expect in a letter. This didn't matter. The story was still powerful, and the game both relaxing and poignant. The character that you play - a little old lady - is an absolute joy. Just walking her out into the desert, or growing flowers for her to appreciate, is a pleasure, and I really came to care about her. This game is short and sweet and well worth the money.. 9/10 because I was not prepared for that kind of sadness!. I expected it to be a relaxing farm simulator and was very surprised to find how emotional this game is. You are free to do whatever you want while the sun is still up, game doesn't really have any objectives. The gameplay is slow and I really enjoyed it this way. It is more a piece of art than just a game. I can highly recommend it to everyone who like to play something short but emotionally involving. I wish there were more games like this.. Well, I'm not sure what to say. I just finished playing the game in one go. It was beautifully made and extremely depressing at the same time. And I feel like it was a bit more depressing and disturbing than it should have been. Overall I enjoyed playing it but I think the story conveyed through her letters and what she recalled were too fragmented and do not contribute to any image at least for me. Like was it about industrialization and people drifting apart? Was it about war? What was the whole thing about the gypsies? Is it about the stranger or the other being evil? I guess my point is I am fine with a vague and open story, but I don't like it when there are fragments of what should have been a number of different stories. But my harsh criticism aside, I still enjoyed it and recommend it to people who enjoy beautifully designed games..
